Welcome to the Pegasus Parent website! As a new member of the UCF family, we realize that college is a huge transition not only for students, but for parents as well. Therefore, we have created this website to assist you in your new role as a Pegasus Parent. The purpose of the Pegasus Parent program is to provide quality and up-to-date information to parents and family members of UCF students. Understanding that a healthy relationship between students and parents leads to a positive college experience, we aim to assist parents in their endeavor to gather any important information that enables them to help their student succeed at UCF. The University of Central Florida provides a wide array of services staff dedicated to ensuring your son or daughter’s success at UCF. As part of the First Year Experience office, Pegasus Parent is here to help every step of the way. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We can be reached at 407.823.5105 or via email at ucfparents@mail.ucf.edu.

Bright Futures: Important Changes
On November 20th from 10-2pm on Greek Drive, University Police Department, Parking Services, and the Safety and Security Committee within Housing and Residence Life are hosting a free car safety program. We are trying to reach out to student to teach basic safety maintenance on their vehicles and how to stay safe if broken down or in an accident. We will have certified mechanics present along with local vendors like: AAA, All State Insurance, State Farm Insurance, Florida Safety Council and more. We are trying to reach students before they head home for their commutes home for the holidays. Students will be shown how to check their oil and fluid levels, how to jump their car, how to check the air pressure on their tires, and how to change a tire. This is a free event that will hopefully get students home safely for the holiday!!
